About the department The Women's Quality and Safety Unit provides an expert advisory service to the staff and services of the Women's on quality improvement, risk management patient experience and patient safety. It is responsible for the provision of designated data and information to service areas and relevant external agencies and for the facilitation of quality improvement activities.
About the role As a Quality and Safety Partner you will promote and facilitate a focus on quality, risk management and improvement within the clinical service areas based on the agreed organisational frameworks and tools. You will support the provision of patient-focused risk and improvement services, provide advice to clinical services, support the creation of exceptional experiences across the organisation, develop and review effective incident reporting for all areas and participate in accreditation-related activities to achieve successful accreditation of the Women's.
A regular day will see you:
Assisting / supporting / advising Clinical Directors and Managers with initiatives and activities relating to quality, risk and patient safetyProviding support for implementation and evaluation of quality, risk and improvement activities within the clinical arenaAssisting staff with the development of the risk and quality improvement reports and in the development of the skills of Managers in quality, risk management and continuous improvementAbout you To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:
