The Opportunity
The opportunity is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are qualified Tradesperson, interested in a career with MinRes.

Boilermaker
Electrician / Instrument Technician
Auto Electrician
Mechanical Fitter
Fitter and Machinist
Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter

What is required:

Demonstrated safety commitment
Australian recognised Trade Certificate
Current Australian Driver's License (Manual)
Confined Space with Gas Testing
Working at Heights
Australian Work Rights
National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)

Our expectation of you:

100% commitment to complying with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures
Passionate about a long-term career in mining and keen to learn a variety of new skills
Flexible and enthusiastic attitude to work and training
Capable of working in a busy, hands-on environment with strong time management skills
If seeking FIFO work - willingness to work in remote mine sites, up to 12 hours a day, various rosters on offer
The ability to work as part of a successful team with well-rounded communication skills
Hold a current C class driver's license
Pass a pre-employment medical examination and ongoing fitness for work assessments (including drug and alcohol testing)
