Support Works - Tiwi Island - FIFO from Darwin Make a difference at one of Australia's leading health care providers Generous salary packaging benefits, ongoing professional development and supportive team environment Cert III in Individual Support / HACC / Aged Care or equivalent About the role This is a fly in fly out role based in Tiwi Islands. It is 10 days on 4 days off with rotating roster morning, afternoon and night shifts. Accommodation, meals, and flights are all included. As a Support Worker, your role will be to assist a diverse range of clients including aged and high need clients with everyday activities and providing support services such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite, and Personal Care in the facility.
** Must not have any working restrictions on your VISA to be considered, as this role requires full time hours to be worked. Key Responsibilities Support Workers play a vital role in the Calvary Customer Experience by providing quality, responsive and compassionate care that supports a trusting and long term relationship with our customers and delivers our Mission through "being for others."
Support Workers meet the changing needs of customers supporting them in their homes and whilst out in the community through the provision of flexible services including personal and respite care, social support, domestic assistance, overnight care, and 24-hour support.
What you bring A Completed Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Individual Support. Current and valid Full Driver's Licence. Smart mobile phone. Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself. Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation. Ability to work independently and effectively manage time. Access to the internet and experience using a computer, systems, and applications. Proficiency in the use of technology such as smartphones, email, and internet. A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
