We're looking for dedicated Aged Care Support Workers to join our team that delivers services that are responsive, timely, and empowering to facilitate independent living, health, wellness, and happiness. 
We have a role located on Brisbane's North Side region. We are looking for exceptional support workers who have completed their Certificate 3 and are looking for to work for a company that cares, ideally you would have good availability for afternoon shifts and weekend work.
In this role, you'll provide essential care and support to help our clients live comfortably and independently in their own homes. Every client is unique and has individual preferences but in general, you will help them learn new skills, find new hobbies and achieve their goals by facilitating wellness and community activities.
You will provide social support, care, lifting, mobility, grooming, and other personal care tasks. In addition, you transport clients to access community and social activities and/or medical and specialist appointments.
You will become a trusted partner and provide a ray of warmth and sunshine to the client and their families.
This role is working in the community in the Brisbane North region. Please note there is currently no clients located in the Brisbane CBD.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with personal care, mobility, and domestic tasks. Provide social support and facilitate community and wellness activities. Communicate effectively with your team leader about client needs and progress. Transport clients to appointments and social events. Travel throughout the community between client homes (paid km's) Desired Skills and Experience Availability for afternoon shifts and weekend work. Minimum Certificate III Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community, or current nursing students with completed aged care placement. Previous experience in aged care or community services. Basic computer skills and accurate documentation. Ability to work independently and report to a supervisor. Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards aging. Current Australian Open Drivers License, reliable vehicle, National Police Check, first-aid and CPR certificates, and COVID-19 vaccination status as per the Government recommendations. Apply Now!
