Job Description Qualified Social Worker, Knowsley Council, Adults Safeguarding Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Undertake safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act 2019
• Identify concerns in relation to allegations of abuse or neglect, if the adult has care and support needs and as a result of these needs unable to safeguard themselves
• Working within adult social care and demonstrate an ability to undertake Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity assessments and safeguarding adult enquiries
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of adults at risk and their families/carers alongside implementing the Making Safeguarding Personal and strengths based approach to safeguarding adults
• Report writing
• Home Visits
• Liaise with other professionals
• 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance
