About the roleTecbuild Constructions is seeking a talented and experienced Qualified Carpenter to join our growing team in Townsville, Queensland.
As a Qualified Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality construction projects for our diverse range of residential and commercial clients.
This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding building projects.
What you'll be doing Undertaking major renovations, new builds, sheds, driveways, patios and extensions.Reading and interpreting plans, sketches, and drawings to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, with a focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail.Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and other tradespeople to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of projects.Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order, and adhering to all relevant safety protocols.What we're looking for Completion of a relevant carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified carpenter in the building and construction industry.Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.Strong practical skills and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well within a team.A current driver's licence and the ability to travel to remote job sites as required.What we offerAt Tecbuild Constructions, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
