About the role The Senior Sous Chef You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations.
You will be responsible for leading the kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Your culinary expertise and leadership skills will contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and execution.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory effectively.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in cost control and budget management, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
Collaborate with the Head Chef to innovate and implement seasonal menus.
Oversee food presentation and plating to ensure consistency and quality.
Manage kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence, making decisions to resolve issues as they arise.
Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance the restaurant's offerings.

Skills & experience Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
