Machine Operators (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Full-time casual | $50 per hour | Job security | Interesting work | Early finish on Friday

Due to continued growth and a strong sales pipeline, QMW Industries are searching for experienced CNC Machine Operators to join our Hi-Performance Operations Team, whose primary objective is to ensure the timely delivery of machined parts to our manufacturing facility for Job / Project completion.
About you:
Reliable with a strong work ethic and able to meet strict deadlines Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent is preferred Minimum 2-3 years experience operating CNC machines Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming an advantage Experience in FANUC CNC software an advantage Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Proficient with measuring equipment such as vernier callipers, micrometers etc. Strong attention to detail and committed to producing high-quality work A high level of mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity Strong organisational and time management skills Good communication skills and a problem-solving mindset Able to work in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina and ability to lift and move materials Have a valid and current Qld Driver's License with reliable transport About the role:
Safety:
Support a proactive 'Safety-First' culture and adhere to all safety procedures and regulations Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized work environment Conduct regular safety checks on CNC machinery to ensure compliance with safety regulations Quality:
Drive a 'Right from Me' Quality culture for internal customers Monitor machine operations, adjust as necessary to ensure product quality Perform quality inspections on finished parts to ensure conformance to technical specifications Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for supplied part or material issues Delivery:
Manufacture parts to bills of materials (BOMs) / work orders to quantities required Set up and adjust machine tools, fixtures, and attachments to achieve accurate machining operations Report any material shortages that will impact delivery Troubleshoot any issues related to machine operations in a timely manner Cost:
Report any part or material quality concerns in a timely manner Advise on most efficient machining methods Participate in Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) sessions to optimise processes Work with the Team Leader on waste minimization and reusable packaging initiatives People:
Promote a Continuous Improvement and feedback loop Way of Working Foster a X-Functional and collaborative Way of Working with other employees Represent your Department in discussions with other Team Members, Team Leaders and Managers About us:
