Clinical Nurse Consultant (Dual Diagnosis) The Youth and Family Wellbeing Team are looking for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Dual Diagnosis) to join their supportive team. The Youth and Family Wellbeing Team works in partnership with families and community networks to support children and young people, aged 12 to 21 years who are living in the Logan-Beaudesert area. The Team aims to connect people and their families to local services that can support them in times of mental health crisis.

About the Role The successful application will have:
Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skills and competence in Child and Youth Mental Health and Alcohol and other drugs nursing practice and theory; linking care to key objectives and performance indicators. Demonstrated clinical leadership in the coordination and provision of patient centred care and best practice outcomes including identifying, selecting, implementing and evaluating more complex nursing interventions. An ongoing commitment to provide patients, relatives and carers with appropriate education considering the patient goals, health care needs and environmental factors and tailoring education to suit these needs. An ongoing commitment to developing and maintaining an effective nursing team that works collaboratively with colleagues, patients and their carers.
