We're Planet Fitness!Job Skill Set RequirementsExperience with managing operational budgetsProficient in MS Office productsSuperior problem-solving skillsExceptional leadership and diplomacy skillsLead teams with Vision and Purpose as the guiding principleHave solid communications and organization skillsBe a take-charge individualBe willing to pitch in and do whatever is neededMust be willing to travel up to 40% of your time (local)RemitActively promotes our mission of impacting as many lives as possible through the delivery of fun and affordable fitness.Actively displays and cultivates our House of Values.Acts as a Guardian of The Gate and ensures the region is properly staffed with team members that share our vision (management, service desk, and fitness).Communicates, leads, and delivers quarterly and monthly SMART Goals, consistent with our strategic priorities.Leads all onboarding and training with the assistance of the Training and Excellence team.Oversees Area Managers and Managers of all locations in their region.Maintains day-to-day contact with Managers and support teams to operate and deliver World Class Clubs.Ensures club managers are set up for success in the delivery of Key Performance Metrics determined by the Executive in charge of Club Operations.Monitors and tracks operating budget (club and region) to ensure revenue, expense, and profit targets are met.Ensures Area and Management teams understand key reports and processes to deliver on KPI's.Actively participates in Local Market Planning with assistance from Marketing Managers.Inspects WHIM monthly through the delivery of Brand Excellence Inspections.Oversees support team in all facility and equipment maintenance using the management systems identified.Leads the delivery of presale locations to get to 2,000 members by 1st billing, with the support of Marketing, Delivery, and Training teams.Completes month-end Key Performance Reviews with Area and Management teams to highlight success and identify opportunities.Contributes to the continued development of Standard Operating Procedures based on opportunities and insights.Trains with Area and Management teams once a month in PEPF classes to foster safe, trustful, and secure relationships within the region.Experience/QualificationsExperience as an Area Manager for a minimum of 2 years.Minimum Supporting Delivery of 2 new clubs.Must be currently First Aid & CPR certified and provide the club with a copy of the First Aid & CPR certification or willing to obtain within the first three weeks.Must have your WWC (working with children) certificate/number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date or proof that the process has started.Must have completed a National Police Check certificate.
