About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a QHSE Coordinator to join our team in Winston Hills reporting to the QHSE Manager.
This is a great opportunity to have an impact on an organisation as it is going through a stage of combining divisional responsibilities into a consistent organisational approach.
You will succeed in this role based on your ability to review processes, consult within the business and embed new ways of doing things.

As Toshiba continues its drive for a high performing and adaptive workplace through innovative systems and processes, the ongoing development of the QHSE function is vital.
This role will play a key part in transitioning to a true business partner and value-adding function by delivering innovative changes and consistent service to staff and managers.

Key Responsibilities
Contributing to the development, implementation and continual improvement of the QHSE Management System QHSE administration, including records management, monitoring and reporting of QHSE system performance Conducting Risk Internal QHSE audits and inspections Coordinating incident/issue reporting and investigation procedures Conduct Risk assessment to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Performing tasks associated with workers compensation claims, injury management and return to work coordination Providing inductions and training as needed Providing advice and assistance to team members and management on QHSE related matters Our ideal candidate will possess

This is a hands-on role that requires occasional wearing of safety gear and working in environments where some exposure to dirt or industrial conditions is expected.
Experience in process engineering, manufacturing, heavy engineering or construction industries would be a real advantage.
Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification is desirable Certificate IV in WHS and/or Training & Assessment would be an advantage Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations Demonstrated experience in RTW coordination and injury management Demonstrated knowledge of WHS and/or Environmental legislation and codes of practice Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
