Due to increase in project requirements within the Quality Control team, our client is now seeking a QC Microbiology Analyst to perform environmental monitoring.
About The Opportunity Key responsibilities include the following:
Perform environmental monitoring of manufacturing facilities including viable & non viable monitoring. Perform routine bioburden testing using pour plate, spread plate & membrane filtration techniques. Perform biological indicator testing. Participate in Out of Specification results (OOS) as required. Ensure equipment & facilities are prepared in accordance with approved procedures. Perform data entry using LIMS. General laboratory housekeeping & maintaining stock in the laboratory. About You The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:
A tertiary qualification in Microbiology or Science with further studies in Microbiology or equivalent. Knowledge or experience working with Microbiology Test Methods. Experience within the pharmaceutical industry. Familiar with USP/BP/EP compendial requirements. Good knowledge of the TGA (PICs) & FDA requirements. Experience within Qualification of Equipment is desirable. Ability to work alone or with a small team. Sound communication & interpersonal skills. Culture & Benefits
