Position Purpose The purpose of this position is to carry out the necessary measurement, testing, and inspections to determine our products conform to specifications.
This role is critical to ensuring our products meet or exceed our customers expectations.
The Quality Control Inspector will work 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday.
Areas of Responsibility Verify work order instructions against specifications.
Verify incoming raw materials (yarn) against master.
Prepare yarn batch match requests, and record results promptly and accurately Maintain all yarn master books as new yarns are introduced.
Conduct in process inspections on all lines.
Perform all required measurement and testing of finished product and document results.
Monitor QC measurement and testing results to ensure products released comply with specifications.
Prompt communication of quality concerns to supervisors and technical staff to ensure fatuity product is contained and reworked in a timely manner.
Inspection of customer returns and timely completion of associated system transactions.
Conduct batch matching of finished product within agreed timeframes.
Support the onsite laboratory with ad hoc sampling requirements.
Carry out other duties as directed by Supervisor or QESH Manager.
Qualifications and Experience Required Minimum 2 years' Experience working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with your team Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English.
Excellent priority, time management and communication skills to complete tasks on time and to a high standard Proven decision making and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach, able to work quickly and identify challenges and risks Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality frameworks and principles Some experience using measuring equipment such as Calipers, force gauges, scales etc.
Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to work.
Experience using JD Edwards desirable but not essential Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
