The Role      The Environmental Division operates a modern laboratory in Smithfield (Sydney) that is equipped with the latest analytical technology.
The business is seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator Assistant to become part of a team that strives to exceed internal and external client expectations.
As a Quality Coordinator Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting and undertaking method audits according to ALS Procedures.
You will be assisting with the resolution of issues within quality systems and assisting in the monitoring of the system for Quality control of the Laboratory.
The Quality Co-Ordinator Assistant is responsible for:  The day to day  Following quality procedures and policies  Day to Day duties in Laboratory for Quality Control Drafting and revision of quality work instructions   Monitor the system for statistical quality control of the data.
Assist staff to undertake the periodic calibration of specified equipment.
Maintaining the CAR system  Ensuring Safety procedures are followed.
Organising designated tasks to maximise daily efficiencies.
Other duties as required.
The Essentials     Previous experience in quality and auditing is preferable  Demonstrated laboratory experience  Good problem-solving ability  Computer skills   Knowledge of ISO17025 and NATA general requirements for accreditation is preferable  Ability to work independently and or part of a team  Excellent analytical thought pattern  Effective communication and interpersonal skills        Working at ALS  Our people drive our success at ALS.
