Job Description Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We operate a fleet of F100 and A320 jet aircraft.
As the Line Maintenance Manager , you will oversee the effective execution of aircraft maintenance activities within Line Maintenance Operations for Network Aviation. You will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities align with our core values of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. This includes the delivery of planned maintenance activities in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements, ensuring the delivery of airworthy aircraft, engines, components, equipment, tooling, and facilities in compliance with CASA regulations and Group Policy, while maintaining the security and safety of people and aircraft.
The Line Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for fostering an environment that supports safety as a core value, promoting a culture where all injuries and occupational illnesses are preventable and ensuring a safe, healthy, and productive working environment. Additionally, this role involves operational leadership, people management, adherence to occupational health and safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Furthermore, the Line Maintenance Manager will drive key business initiatives, focusing on quality adherence, financial outcomes, and operational performance, while continuously improving processes and outcomes.
You'll have – Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, or 10 years' experience in a Line Maintenance Supervisory role. Cert IV or Diploma in Aeroskills Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably with large groups of people Proven operational expertise with a deep understanding of commercial, financial, and business matters. Proactive, with the ability to negotiate solutions, resolve conflicts and manage resources effectively and efficiently. Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to work to a designated timeline Exceptional communicator, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of management.
