In the pharmaceutical industry, where precision and reliability are paramount, Medisca is seeking a talented QA Software Automation Specialist to join our team. Your role will be critical in automating the testing processes to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of our software products. By designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, you will help us deliver high-quality solutions that meet stringent industry standards. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of automation tools, and a drive to ensure the utmost quality in every release, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities & Duties:
Create and maintain automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, security, and reliability of software applications. Execute automated tests as part of the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure early detection of defects. Regularly review and refine test scripts to improve efficiency and test coverage. Research and implement new tools and methodologies to enhance the test automation process. Analyze test results, identify issues, and generate comprehensive reports for the development and QA teams. Tracking and using KPI's to measure the software quality delivered. Document test cases, procedures, and scripts to ensure transparency and reproducibility. Work closely with developers to understand the codebase and ensure alignment between automated tests and development goals. Collaborate with the software developers on the test suites implementation. Support the Quality Validation team to reduce their testing time after each release, resulting in a quicker turnaround for our end user. Support the development team in reproducing and resolving issues found during automated testing. Promote best practices in software testing and quality assurance across the organization. Support the SME in the UAT of the software. Provide training and guidance to team members on automation tools and techniques. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in QA automation testing. Proven experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, or similar. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into these workflows. Experience with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus. Languages: Excellent communication skills; fluent French and English (oral and written) required. This role interacts with our global offices. Travel: Up to two (2) weeks per year to attend tradeshows, programs, training sessions.
