Our client is a well-established engineering company involved in major mining and resource sector projects across Western Australia.
Due to continued growth, they have an immediate requirement for a skilled QA Engineer to join their Pilgangoora site team.
This position is offered on a FIFO 2:1 roster from Perth and focuses on quality assurance across various mining and construction operations.
Your main responsibilities will include: Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation: Ensure the QMS is effectively implemented across engineering, construction, and fabrication, meeting project standards.Task Coordination with QA Manager: Execute tasks assigned by the QA Manager, driving quality benchmarks and compliance.Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with engineering, construction, and fabrication teams to align quality efforts, addressing issues proactively.Conducting thorough inspections and audits to ensure work aligns with industry standards and project specifications.Implementing quality assurance protocols and coordinating with project managers to identify and rectify non-compliance issues.Collaborating closely with engineering and site teams to maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards.Documenting QA processes, preparing detailed reports, and maintaining quality records.Ensuring materials and processes meet all compliance requirements.Identifying and recommending process improvements to support project efficiency and quality.Qualifications, Skills, and Experience required: Proven experience in quality assurance within the mining, construction, or resource sectors.Knowledge of quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements in heavy industry.Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and documentation skills.Ability to thrive in a remote FIFO setting, adhering to a 2:1 roster.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.Application: If you would like to be considered for this exciting opportunity and meet the above criteria, please click "APPLY NOW" and submit your CV.
