**What's the role?
** The role is required to lead a small team and refine and implement the Automation Strategy across several platform teams, expanding the automation footprint to a high level of maturity.
The role will require senior stakeholder management, presenting and reporting.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities + Senior stakeholder management, presenting and reporting ROI & complex metrics + Manage automation resources to automate progression and regression test cases + Adopt and drive an Automation 1st Policy + Hiring Automation resources as required + Build a centralised Automation Community of Practice to support teams with automation maturity + Build out automation, hands on, applying best practices, ensuring roadmap milestones are met + Increase coverage with automation assets compared to manual assets + Set up Production automation and automated reporting to stakeholders + Refine the existing Automation framework.
Define and implement roadmaps that deliver on expected automation outcomes for all teams + Recommend improvements such as open source tooling and resource requirements to provide cost benefits **Who are you?
** + Solid working knowledge of code branching and sequencing + Extensive experience working with Github and multiple automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, Playwright + Strong negotiation skills with a desire to innovate + Solid understanding of technology operations and strategy + Extensive experience leading teams both on and offshore, hiring automation resources as + Project Management experience is not required but beneficial + Excellent communication and collaboration skills and a strong ability to manage senior relationships + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
