We are secretive about what we do, not what we value.The opportunityASIO is seeking to fill the position of Python & SQL Developer in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth locations.A merit pool may be created to fill future vacancies which have the same or similar requirements to this position. This merit pool will be valid for up to 18 months.Role responsibilitiesAs a Python & SQL Developer, you will:Play a key role in developing capability using Python and SQL for the purpose of integrating a variety of different data types into Enterprise Data Platforms for both analytics and applications in support of ASIO's mission.Plan and develop capability using industry, enterprise and security standards.Work in a diverse team environment, sharing outcomes and experience with others to support development and growth.Support the Enterprise by providing data that is fit-for-purpose, complete, accurate, and consistent for end users.Employ contemporary and innovative tools and techniques to automate the ingestion of data into Enterprise Data Platforms.Ensure that all development is in line with standard engineering and technical approaches employed by the team, and that risks associated with deployment are adequately understood and documented.What you will bringThe Role Description above provides an overview of the Python & SQL function in general.
