• Contribute to the standards, design, and development guidelines and guardrails of the integration components (APIs, publishers, Subscribers, Batch Jobs, etc).

• Involve at the early stage of the project, providing High Level Integration Architecture (HLIA), solution designing, and effort estimation.

• Ability to design and architect integration solutions to support Event Driven Architecture (EDA), educate the organization on the benefits of EDA, and seek opportunities to implement EDA solutions.

• Impact analysis skills to mitigate the risks while designing or implementing the solution.

• Engage with business stakeholders, project managers, and other teams (Solution Architect, Support teams, Data Science, Cloud Platform, Cloud Ops, etc.)
to understand functional, non-functional, and performance-related requirements, ensuring that all critical aspects are addressed.

• Focus on maximizing the consumption of existing assets to reduce project costs and risks.

• Coordinate with Integration Developers and testers to deliver new functionality or update existing functionality.

• Maintain continuous engagement with developers throughout the project lifecycle, providing technical oversight from initial API design to deprecation/retirement.

• Analyze complex issues that arise during development and provide optimal solutions to accommodate changes.

• Manage and distribute time among multiple initiatives/projects.

• Approve prospective consumption requests and work with individual API consumers to ensure that requirements are met.

• Build Integration Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and respond to functional and technical elements of the ISA and ISD independently and effectively in the context of integration.

Skills and Experience Required • Minimum 8 years of integration experience primarily with AWS and MuleSoft.

• Experience in building messaging integration applications using message brokers to provide benefits of persistency, reliability, and developed error handling frameworks.

• Experience with DevOps CI/CD tools such as Maven, Jenkins, AWS Cloud pipelines, and Artifactory, and the ability to use them as part of the delivery lifecycle of integration applications.

• Experience working with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform suite of products, including Runtime Engine, Cloud Hub, and API Manager.

• Experience working with AWS integration suite of products like AppSync, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Step Functions, Lambdas (Node.js, Python), ECS.

• Design APIs (REST and Asynchronous) using RAML or OpenAPI specs, including security and governance models around those APIs.

• Experience working in Agile teams, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
