Key Responsibilities:
Work on Clarity PPM development and integration with applications specifically financial.
Work as a member of the CA PPM development team and take care of development and enhancement activities.
Ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements, industry best practices and standards and that the requirements are clearly understood.
Participate in requirements review sessions with business analysts and team members and outline the proposed IT solution.
Document technical priorities and requirements, test plans.
Utilize mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.
Additionally, you will document the detailed application specifications, architecture, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance software application modules.

Minimum Qualifications:
Resource with 5 to 10 years of experience in Clarity PPM.
Bachelors or Masters or equivalent.
Experienced Clarity PPM developer with experience in version 15.x (Classic and New User experience) with knowledge of OOPS and Java.
Experience in Clarity PPM Application Development activities covering full systems lifecycle (designing, coding, testing, implementing, and supporting the application software).
Experience in integrating Clarity with different applications and handling interfaces, especially financial interfaces.
Research and analyze multiple technical solution approaches and discuss their pros and cons with stakeholders to bring the best solution.
Perform research, technical feasibility, and analysis of complex business and technical requirements and translate them to technical design specifications.
Perform development and customization activities around all Clarity PPM Modules – Demand Management, Project Management, Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Timesheet Management, and Process Management using Clarity Studio Management capabilities and configurations in accordance with quality accredited standards.
Develop complex Clarity PPM Portlets (application reports) including Grid, Graphs, and multi-level drill downs and links using SQL, NSQL, Gel Scripts, and system configurations.
Create SQL Queries, Functions, Stored Procedures, and Triggers using Clarity PPM data model and its database tables.
Utilize XOG (XML Open Gateway) in bulk uploads, updates, and migrating technical implementations from one application environment to another.
Perform upgrades of on-premises Clarity PPM Application to latest versions on customer's demand (SaaS or on-premises), including management and planning of the whole technical upgrade process and coordination with different stakeholders.
Configuration and management of Clarity PPM server installation and related settings, such as updating company logos, analyzing server logs, monitoring system health, clarity (niku) services monitoring, rebooting, and SSL certification installation.
Perform Clarity PPM administrative activities like system health check-up, reports and jobs scheduling, monitoring performance and logs, and clearing cache.
Integrate and coordinate solutions with other applications and platforms outside the Clarity PPM framework like MSP, Xcelsius, SAP, etc.
Proactively identify issues and limitations in existing systems and associated processes, procedures, and methods and make recommendations.
Test, identify, and rectify errors and issues in Clarity PPM application and related codes and configurations within established testing protocols, guidelines, and quality standards.
Provide technical support and resolutions to all Clarity PPM end users by debugging and troubleshooting the issues and answering queries.
Create and maintain technical documentation at various stages of the project life cycle.
Conduct trainings/walkthroughs to end users and team members on technical and functional aspects of Clarity PPM customized implementations.
Work with application vendor to raise, track and resolve defects and fixes.
Preferred Qualifications:
CAPPM Professional Certification is a Plus.
