The Role: Review data in Ellipse and create purchase orders Issue works/services tenders, with training provided Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative and departmental procurement requirements Provide administrative support to the Procurement team as needed Promote procurement as a key business function to departmental staff Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with KPIs and performance monitoring Handle enquiries in the absence of senior staff, demonstrating professionalism and initiative Skills and Experience: Experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within a government or large organization Proficiency in using Ellipse or similar systems for data review and purchase order creation Strong administrative skills and attention to detail in managing procurement documentation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with measurable KPIs Excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative when supporting senior staff Benefits & Culture: Flexible working hours.
