Reporting to the Group Accountant & Senior Accountant, this role will be responsible for maintaining purchasing data and detailing accurate, and reliable reporting. This role is based out of Head Office in Chatswood.Responsibilities include:Managing and coordinating the purchasing of goods, materials, or services.A big part of your job would be to raise, create, monitor, and expedite (as needed) purchase orders.Maintain accurate purchasing data within SAP Business One; pricing, stock availability, supplier lead times and delivery dates.Liaise with depots and warehouse to ensure goods receipts are reflected in SAP.Provide accurate and timely reporting.Continuously seek to identify operational efficiencies to improve business productivity.Assist and/or lead purchasing or cross functional business activities as may be required.Work closely with accounts payable to ensure data integrity and accuracy.Maintenance of fleet rego's and continuous monitoring of rego renewals.Qualifications:You have a demonstrated capability and understanding for collaboration, business partnering and communication.You have good influencing skills, approachable and can effectively build rapport with suppliers and team members.You have well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.You proactively seek to develop deeper knowledge and skills within area of expertise.
