Enduroco is a Melbourne based vehicle body builder specializing in 4x4 conversion systems and lift kits to suit the mini bus sector, amongst other heavy duty automotive upgrades at a local and international level. We are currently seeking an experienced purchasing officer and inventory manager.
While the role is advertised as a purchasing officer the role is greater than simply "purchasing". The role is considered a vital and essential part of the business.
The applicant will require to: Raise purchase orders from purchase requisitions in line with min/max levels.Running reports to check SOH of all materials are in line with warehouse capacity.Unleash Reporting Following up any outstanding deliveries from previous day.Stocktakes Liaising with warehouse and sales staff Occasional deliveries and willingness to help on the floor if required. The applicant must have: Experience with inventory control or warehousing,Microsoft Office 365 knowledgeStrong administration skills.Proven ability to manage working relationships across warehouse operationsStrong planning and organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good numerical ability at a local and international level. A team player.Ability to read engineering drawings. Must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency. Applicants will be held in high regard if they have: Unleash Software experience.Experience in the motor vehicle industry. As the role has grown the candidate also will be need to work with Engineering and Accounts to ensure the inventory system is correct and remains up to date.
Also, the applicant will have a key role in implementing barcoding and locations. Furthermore, you may be tasked to procure the manufacturing of new parts as we do research and development.
There is a 3-month probation period.
