What you'll do: As a Purchasing Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing procurement activities within the organisation.Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet business needs.Maintain relationships with existing suppliers while identifying potential new ones.Monitor supplier performance, ensuring quality and timely delivery.Cost management: analysing costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing cost-effective procurement strategies.Utilising SAP modules for procurement processes will be an integral part of your daily tasks.What you bring: Familiarity with SAP's procurement functionality, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor management.Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar role.Excellent communication and organisational abilities.Strong analytic focus with high attention to detail.Commercial acumen and negotiating skills.Competent in MS Office suite of tools.Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines when necessary.What sets this company apart: This company is an established producer of natural gas, focused on creating sustainable value for all stakeholders through low-cost, efficient and safe operations.
