About the Role We are actively seeking the expertise of an energetic, reliable, and proactive Purchasing Officer to fill this pivotal role in our team. In this diverse and busy role, you will be responsible for investigating and recommending sources of materials and placing orders for the business.
This role will work across various entities in the group and will primarily involve:
Purchase order maintenance ensuring purchase orders arrival dates are correct at all timesCommunicating delays to internal departmentsInvestigating and developing supply sources and obtaining various quotationsAmending purchase orders where required to reflect correct quantities and values prior to receivingAbout You Essential skills and experience required:
3 years purchasing experienceMaterials resource planning experience preferredThe ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrate problem-solving skillsAbility to learn and willingness to learn a diverse product rangeExceptional communication skills across all levels of employee/managementTo be successful in this challenging role, you must be self-motivated and willing to put in the effort needed to complete work and achieve desired results in a timely manner.
