Procurement Coordinator

Plays a pivotal role in advancing commitment to diversity & inclusion in our non-trade or Goods Not For Resale (GNFR) Suppliers.
This position will require developing a strong understanding of diversity & inclusion in relation to procurement principles, tools and bidding & on-boarding processes.
A strong service & support focus is necessary to ensure that our procurement & buying teams are connected with the right resources & tools but more importantly our diverse supplier groups (priority on First Nations) receive direct assistance in meeting Woolworths requirements in documentation & process development.

Business Engagement: Cultivate and manage strong relationships to influence key stakeholders, Procurement team (& other Commercial Buying teams), Sustainability teams, Suppliers and 3rd Party Support partners eg Supply Nation, Kinaway to ensure alignment and success of diversity & inclusion initiatives.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to comply with established processes and requirements.
Assist in supporting Diversity & Inclusion supplier spend strategy by increasing awareness, leading engagement and championing best-practice.
Contribute to category-based solutions by identifying potential First Nations suppliers and serving as a trusted liaison between parties.
Help capture data & information for reporting and escalation purposes.
Tasks & Services: Become a subject matter expert on Woolworths bidding & on-boarding processes to be able to provide direct, hands-on coaching and support services to diverse suppliers to develop processes & documentation that meet complex requirements.
Support communications strategy to engage, inform & educate employees across all levels on diversity & inclusion initiatives, targets and emerging trends.
Disseminate information and prioritise feedback from key stakeholders, Procurement team (& other Commercial Buying teams), Sustainability teams, Supplier Partners and 3rd Party Support partners.
Generate ideas for Diversity & Inclusion knowledge training within the procurement team.
Stay up-to-date on supplier policies, processes & requirements & recommend opportunities for improvement/simplification.
Minimum Requirements: Relevant qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in process compliance and development, engagement with suppliers, particularly First Nations would be highly regarded.
Demonstrated skills in partnering, stakeholder management, team collaboration, and communication.
Knowledge of Google Suite.
Experience demonstrating strong stakeholder engagement and partnering skills at all levels.
