The company bundles global application experience in the market segments of Mobile Applications, Machinery Applications and Engineering and Factory Automation.Your new roleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Manager who will be responsible for supplier management, negotiating contracts & prices and the procurement of 3 PL products and services. You will be reporting into the Operations Director ANZ, also working closely with the global team to develop a purchasing strategy to support our needs across the business in Australia and New Zealand.The role would cover:Responsible for leading the Procurement team for Australian & New Zealand operationsDesign, plan and implement sourcing and stocking strategiesWork closely with vendors and internal suppliers to ensure delivery and cost performanceIdentify targeted cost savings and make recommendations for improvementKeep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiencyMaintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvementsCo-operate and align purchasing strategy within Sales Unit ASEAN & OceaniaEnsure all internal and external stakeholders are aligned, engaged and supportedMember of management team and contribute actively to daily operationsTrack, measure, analyze and continually improve purchasing costsDrives CIP within Purchasing departmentGuarantee compliance with policies and procedures for Health, Safety and EnvironmentWhat we need from youExperience in a similar role minimum 5 to 7 yearsExperience in a heavy industrial, engineering, production or manufacturing environmentBusiness degree majoring in supply chain and logistics, with high degree of computer literacyStrong communication skills and leadership abilitiesHigh problem-solving attitude, with an analytical mindsetExcellent time management, attention to detail and organizational skillsPrior experience in multinationals, manufacturing and sales organizations would be valuedTo apply, please select APPLY NOW or contact Julie Henderson at or for further information and a confidential conversation.
