About the Company:

About the Role:
Lead the procurement / purchasing function for the business including developing and implementing procurement strategies to help deliver the best products and services to its customers
Key responsibilities include:
Optimise systems to maximise efficiencies of stock
Negotiate with goods and services suppliers to provide cost savings and/or value add solutions
Lead the planning & forecasting of stock including new products
Ensure business continuity by identifying alternative supply for non-delivered and out of stock items
Data entry and inventory management
Build strong working relationships with suppliers
Work alongside management to manage perishable/slow-moving and deadstock
Some of the skills & experience we are looking for include:
Prior experience in a Procurement / Purchasing position within the Foodservices sector.
Proven experience leading negotiations with suppliers
Experience in pricing analysis and supplier management
Have a mindset for change and business improvement
Ket skills and experience required
3+ years specifically in purchasing / procurement within the food services industry
proactive mindset
broven ability to develop and deliver a purchasing / procurement strategy
strong interpersonal skills
ability to negotiate with suppliers and customers for a win-win outcome.
