Our work will take you in different directions We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join our Procurement team in Mascot, NSW. You will efficiently execute the purchase order processes, ensuring high data quality and the timely supply of materials and services. This role involves daily follow-up on purchase order confirmations with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and supporting the business in supplier selection and price/quotation requests.
What will you be doing? Monitor purchase requisitions to ensure compliance with preferred/approved suppliers and correct material and supplier master data.Support business requestors in finding the right suppliers and clarifying item prices and conditions using established framework agreements.Monitor order confirmation deviations, clarify, and update purchase orders accordingly.Follow up on continuous overdue goods receipt posting reasons with management.Clarify invoice matching deviations for purchase order-related invoices.Handle day-to-day supplier issues in collaboration with purchasing administrators and business requestors.Monitor automated processes with supply lines and handle exceptions escalated by purchasing administrators or others.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including the purchase order policy.Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.What are we looking for? User knowledge of SAP/ERP and other sourcing systems is an asset.Understanding of local requirements in sourcing/purchasing processes.Strong persistence, negotiation, detail-oriented, and compliance skills.Valued working experience in purchasing.If you are a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for purchasing, we would love to hear from you.
