By providing excellent care and services to both clients and children, we have ensured the successful growth of the company and to keep up with the rapid pace of this growth, we are now looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance Team.
Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to efficiently and accurately process financial data while adhering to deadlines and company policies. The ideal candidate will foster strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
This role is: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 47 weeks per year Competitive Salary Main Responsibilities Managing and processing company expenses. Managing and processing inter-business accounts. Managing and processing company credit cards. Effective communication with internal and external customers providing a high level of customer service and meeting set deadlines. Manage individual & expense email inboxes in a timely manner. Assist in other related duties where needed to support Purchase Ledger Manager – e.g., DD accounts, general account assistance, allocations. Timely allocation of BACS payments posted on expense accounts. About You
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams within the Finance function. Proficiency in handling large datasets in Excel is essential, so confidence in using Excel is a must.
Essential Skills & Experience: Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong time management skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. A team player with a collaborative mindset. Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally. Flexible and adaptable to changing needs. Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
