Job Description Regular Weekly Duties: Attend weekly Marketing and Publicity team WIPs. Sign up to and review daily Social Diary EDM for new database contacts and for new product launches, publicity opportunities, updated contacts, and report key headlines weekly. Creation of publicity post-screening event reports. Collate review links for global reports on opening day. Collate screening reactions for global reports and pull quotes for opening day review reports. Central Diary booking management. General Administrative assistance as required. Pitching of targeted grassroots promotions for film releases. Database Management: Continually update the Publicity Database – including media/influencers/reviewers. Research: Research potential partners for film-specific promotions e.g.: competitor activity, media monitoring and browsing (online, event pages, genre press outlets, and community pages) along with influencer reach. Research major sporting, seasonal, and music events with a view to potential publicity tie-in with our film properties. Sourcing leads by gathering market intel on media outlets/influencers to refine pitch lists to the Publicity team. Prize fulfillment, sending out merchandise and prizing to winners. Sending out in-season passes to partners. Events / Screenings: General administrative and event support at screenings and premiere events. Attending & signing in reviewer screenings. Assisting with guest lists for screenings & events. Creation of Cheat sheets for premiere events. Sending out screening invitations & setup of ticketing system SPLASH. Qualifications Proficient in MS Power Point, Word, Outlook, and Excel. Excellent attention to detail. Well organized with great prioritization skills. Ability to take initiative and work independently. Excellent communication and a great team player. Passionate about the film industry. Currently undertaking university study in a communications or marketing-based discipline. Available to assist with evening screening events.
