The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a Temporary Full-Time (until March 7, 2025) Public Health Nursein our Geraldton Office.Reporting to the Manager, Oral Health & Visual Health Programs and District Offices, the Public Health Nurse is responsible for providing public health programs and services on health protection, promotion and maintenance, disease and injury prevention and community participation and development.Public Health Nursing practice is based on the model of primary health prevention and is population focused.
Willingness to travel occasionally within rural district is required.
