We are currently seeking an experienced Care Worker to worknight shifts providing support to residents at our BethanieBeachside Aged Care Facility located in Yanchep. Bethanie Yanchepis a 160 bed modern aged care home fitted with the latest in modernconveniences and has been designed specifically to create a homelyfeel for our residents & staff alike. You will support our residents to improve their quality of lifeby assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety andwellbeing is maintained while building positive and professionalrelationships with residents and team members. Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support weprovide to residents. Applicants with at least twelve monthsexperience in a similar role will be highly regarded. We have the following roster available: Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10pm - 7am Week 2: Tuesday 10pm - 7am Please note, Yanchep is located ~50km north of Perth, so we ask that you please assess if this will be a suitable commute for you before applying. The Role Assess care plans and ensure residents' needs are met Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect Ensure residents' rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard About You Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well as a team, and also independently Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one Working with BethanieAt Bethanie we are committed to being anemployer of choice by creating a supportive and compassionateenvironment for our people, customers and residents.
