About The Role The focus of the role is to provide therapeutic support for students of Townsville's William Ross State High School who present with mild to moderate mental health concerns.
Wellbeing professionals employed through the Student Wellbeing Package work as part of schools' established student support teams to enhance the wellbeing and mental health support available to students.
As the Senior/Social Worker or Senior/Psychologist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Provide professional support and information for students, parents, carers and the high school community to facilitate partnerships in decision making for the enhancement of all students' learning.
Provide services such as therapy, assessment and intervention, focusing on students' mental health and wellbeing.
