Psychologist- Registered/Clinical Registrar One Red Tree Resource Centre Inc (ORTRC) is expanding, and we are excited to offer a psychologist position working in our recently renovated clinic, based in Ararat, Victoria.

Ararat is 60 mins from Ballarat, and just 40 mins from the beautiful Grampians/Gariwerd National Park.
Who we are:ORTRC, a not-for-profit charity organisation, was developed in early 2022 to meet the mental health needs of Ararat and its surrounding areas.
Our vision is to be a relational centre of excellence delivering compassionate and inclusive training and mental health services to our rural communities.
Our Psychology Clinic in Ararat provides an affordable psychology service.
Clinicians are supported to explore and develop their personal areas of interest through a range of opportunities.
We work within a collaborative team-environment and employ intern psychologists, clinical psychology registrars, registered psychologists, and registered psychologists with endorsements and supervisor approved.
We work with a diverse client population across the lifespan and receive referrals from a range of agencies/organisations and individuals.
We also provide supervision to professionals in the area to further develop relationships and strengthen wellbeing networks.

About you:Key selection criteria
Required
AHPRA Registration and Professional Compliance
Demonstrated current general registration as a Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist with AHPRA, and current or future eligibility for Medicare registration.
Applicants must hold professional indemnity insurance (or be prepared to get one before starting employment) and a valid Working with Children's Check/National Police Check.
Experience in Evidence-Based Psychological Interventions
Proven ability to deliver evidence-based psychological treatments to a diverse range of clients across the lifespan.
Experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating appropriate treatments to achieve positive client outcomes.
A passion for trauma-informed care and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
Adaptability and Commitment to Rural Practice
A willingness to understand and embrace the unique challenges of providing mental health services in a rural setting, including the need for flexibility, adaptability, and creativity when working with limited resources.
Commitment to working collaboratively with rural communities to support mental health and wellbeing.
Collaboration and Contribution to Organisational Culture
Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Current Victorian Driver's Licence Completed disaster response training Interest/prior training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
