Predominately you will be involved in the multidisciplinary care of our 'day rehabilitation' patients. You will work in conjunction with physiotherapy, exercise physiology, dietetics, occupational therapy and speech therapy to help our patients recover from illness and injury. You will also be involved in regular case conferences with our rehabilitation physicians. Additionally, a new 20 bed inpatient rehabilitation unit is due to open in early 2025. There will be the opportunity to be involved in this service. Potential for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.
Skills and Experience Psychology qualification and AHPRA registeredExperience in rehabilitation and outpatients is desirableInterest in working with orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning and chronic pain patientsExperience working in perinatal care an advantageA flexible approach to work in a developing serviceHighly developed assessment and intervention skillsDemonstrated organisational skills and effective communication skillsProvide a quality customer focused serviceRemuneration On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $40.75 to $60.98 + casual loading and superannuation, based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.
