Psychologist Opportunity - Bendigo | Flexible Hours | Join the New Mental Health Service! Be a key part of building a brand-new, innovative Local mental health service! Permanent role - offering both part-time and full-time positions, so we can work with what fits best for you!Relocation support: Up to $15,000 in grants for eligible candidates through the Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV).Location: Bendigo, a historic town known for its beautiful architecture, thriving food and wine scene, and rich cultural heritage.We encourage applications from all backgrounds!We warmly welcome Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, people with lived and living experience of mental health recovery, and candidates from all walks of life, cultures, genders, and abilities.
What's this role all about? You'll be working with the new "Local" service - a crucial part of Victoria's mental health system transformation, designed to be a welcoming front door to mental health services. It offers a broad range of supports, from clinical treatment to wellbeing and therapeutic support. At the core of this role is helping individuals, families, and carers through the complexity of mental health challenges.
Your Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality psychological therapies, assessments, and interventions.Engage with clients, their families, and support networks through individual or group sessions.Collaborate with an experienced team to align care with each individual's unique needs.Facilitate group programs to build clients' capacity to thrive.What You'll Bring to the Role: A degree in Psychology with AHPRA registration (or eligibility).Experience working in mental health or related fields (community services, disability, etc.).Skills in delivering evidence-based psychological therapies.A passion for working in a diverse, inclusive environment, including understanding peer-led approaches.Perks of the role: Salary packaging: Maximise your income with up to $15,900 tax-free, plus further benefits for remote living.Generous leave: Including 8 weeks paid parental leave and 17.5% annual leave loading.Relocation incentive: You could access up to $15,000 to cover moving costs, childcare, or professional development!Ready to make a positive impact while embracing a lifestyle change?
