About The Organisation:
We are working with a not-for-profit charity dedicated to addressing the mental health needs of Ararat and its surrounding areas to find a clinical psychologist. The recently renovated clinic provides an affordable psychology service in a supportive rural community. They offer opportunities for clinical psychology registrars and registered psychologists to work within a collaborative team, with a focus on innovation, excellence, and relational practice.
About Your Role:
Provide evidence-based psychological treatments to a diverse client population across the lifespan. Collaborate with a dedicated team of clinicians in a supportive environment. Engage in professional development opportunities, including training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Participate in a comprehensive registrar program or a 5 + 1 internship program for Provisional Psychologists. Manage a caseload effectively while balancing collaborative and independent work. Contribute to group programs, community presentations, and individual treatment delivery. Your Desired Skills & Experience:
Current general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA. Eligibility for Medicare registration and professional indemnity insurance. Current and satisfactory Working with Children's Check/National Police Record Check. Proven ability to deliver evidence-based treatments and support positive client outcomes. Strong interest in trauma-informed care and a commitment to teamwork and inclusivity. Understanding or willingness to learn referrer compliance requirements (e.g., Medicare). Ability to adapt to the unique aspects of working in a rural setting. Your Benefits:
