Trainee Psychiatrist Year 1-7 $156,151 to $209,042 p.a. (inclusive of base salary $129,574 to $177,010 p.a, professional development $10,472 p.a and 11.5% superannuation. Generous accommodation & relocation subsidies also available) Salary: Registrars North of the 26th parallel
Registrar Year 3 $178,561 then HSMP Year 1-6 $268,320 to $336,783 p.a.

Position Profile:We are seeking to appoint to the position of Trainee Psychiatrist in various regions across WACHS. The successful applicant will work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary and medical teams. Under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist, this position provides assessment and management for clients requiring specialist psychiatric care. The successful applicant will be committing to a length of training contract (two to five years) with WACHS.
The Rural Psychiatry Training WA (RPTWA) program is overseen by the Western Australia Branch Training Committee, in accordance with the requirements for obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). The training program provides clinical and formal supervised training experiences in rural generalist psychiatry, with Stage 3 trainees completing Certificates of Advanced Training considered on a case-by-case basis.
