Position: Psychiatrist
Base salary: $357,930 to $456,008 p.a. pro rata (inclusive of base salary, allowances, and superannuation, with access to generous salary packaging).
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychiatrist to join a renowned mental health services team in Perth, Western Australia.
The hospital is an Accredited Mental Health Service, one of the state's most recognised and well-regarded mental health facilities, offering a range of adult community and inpatient services including Enhanced GP Liaison and Hospital in the Home Services, HITH, and intensive community treatment programs.
You will have the opportunity to be part of changing and expanding services, working alongside friendly multidisciplinary teams with opportunities for registrar teaching and professional development. You won't have to worry about emergency shifts, and on-call shifts are not strenuous.
Minimum Requirements: Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), or equivalent specialist recognition in Psychiatry, enabling registration as a Specialist Psychiatrist with AHPRA. Demonstrated experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders across a range of settings, including inpatient and community-based care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a supportive and inclusive work environment.
