YOUR NEW ROLE As a Provisional Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor, this opportunity will see you identify and address the critical physical, psychological, social, environmental and organisational risk factors which may have an impact on a worker's ability to successfully return to work.
You will provide strategies to address these factors in practise.
Complete return to work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
Provide holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through relevant assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments and Vocational Assessments.
Deliver Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training and upskilling.
Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN US Professional registration with AHPRA as either a Provisional Psychologist (currently undertaking a 4+2 or 5+1 internship pathway) or a Registered Psychologist, along with a relevant psychology qualification or hold ASORC full or associate membership as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, supported by a relevant qualification.
