Job DescriptionAbout your AAA-Team Our South Perth team is all about collaboration and FUN! You will be working alongside a dynamic and social bunch that includes OT's, Speechies, Physio's, EP's, Psychologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners. We love getting together at our Jandakot community hub as well as local cafes to support participants, support each other and socialise. Our engaging and passionate Regional Manager, Hannah Dawson, is a Physio herself, so she gets what it's like to be in your shoes! You'll see her pooch, Rosie, in the office frequently (because all offices need a mascot)!
More on the role: At Ability Action Australia (AAA), the Provisional Psychologist plays a vital role in supporting NDIS participants, ensuring alignment with AHPRA and NDIS regulations, and helping clients achieve their individual goals.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, evidence-based, and client-centred therapeutic interventions in a professional, confidential, and culturally sensitive manner.Conduct comprehensive assessments, using both clinical observations and standardized tools, to interpret findings and develop personalized treatment goals.Manage and support your own caseload of clients, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.Assist participants and other stakeholders in the development and ongoing review of support plans.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals and key stakeholders to ensure holistic care for each client.Complete case notes, reports, and other documentation in accordance with relevant standards, legislative requirements, and ethical guidelines.Actively participate in monthly team meetings and team-led in-service training sessions.Engage in weekly internal supervision with the Team Leader to foster professional growth and ensure clinical best practice.If you're passionate about making a real difference and contributing to a collaborative, client-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functioning, as well as their capacity to perform ADLs and IADLs.Analyze assessment findings to develop tailored treatment goals.Participate in ongoing professional development and receive formal 1:1 supervision.Engage in group supervision and disability-specific workshops.Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, and Behaviour Support Practitioners.As you make a difference in the lives of many, we're here to support you!
