Due to growth across the business and our expanding Psych Division we currently have a new opportunity for a Psychology Graduate (5+1) or experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor looking for more exposure to complex psych claims to join our Team!

Full induction, training, and buddy system provided to set you up for success. Including weekly and monthly team meetings targeted at developing your exposure to different psychometrics.

In your new role you will manage a portfolio of clients with a psychological disorder, creating and monitoring rehabilitation plans and aim to gradually return your clients back to work.

You will develop the skills needed to conduct motivational interviews with clients as well as influencing stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.

Looking After a Client Portfolio, Your Day Will Include Manage a portfolio of clients with a psychological or physical injuryComplete initial & psychometric assessments, identifying suitable goalsIdentify barriers preventing clients from returning to workOrganise appropriate intervention with stakeholdersProviding vocational counsellingConduct Vocational AssessmentsAttend medical appointments and structured intervention-based programs with your clientsComplete reports after assessments and meetingsCommunicate with medical professionals regarding diagnoses and treatmentFacilitate a safe and timely graduated return to workDocument case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements, applying your clinical judgement to support and guide your clientsAbout You Associate or Full membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor OR Registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist or PsychologistCar and valid Driver's licensePolice check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencementAbility to build strong stakeholder relationshipsAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamPinnacle Rehab is an equal opportunity employer who encourages applications from suitably qualified candidates from all cultures, ages, religions and genders.
