Northern Adelaide Local Health Network – Modbury Hospital – ModburySalary: AHP1 - $68,478 - $83,594 p.a. / AHP2 - $88,255 - $102,240 p.a. plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefitsOngoing Full-TimeAbout the Role: The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a skilled and compassionate Prosthetist and Orthotist to join our dedicated team. As a Prosthetist and Orthotist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to patients who require prosthetic and orthotic services. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, fabricating, and fitting custom-made devices that enhance mobility, improve quality of life, and promote independence. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing customised treatment plans, and providing ongoing follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes.
The Orthotics and Prosthetics team is co-located with the Podiatry team within the Specialist Ambulatory Rehabilitation Centre adjacent to Modbury Hospital. You will provide an outpatient service, as well as treating patients within the Day Rehabilitation Service, and responding to referrals from the inpatient rehabilitation wards of Modbury Hospital.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, sharing knowledge and contributing to the continuous improvement of patient care.
Minimum Requirements: To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification of Orthotists and Prosthetists.
