YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You will lead the Oceania MT Team and be responsible for solution sales of the RIEDEL MT services portfolio to customers in the Oceania markets, as well as aiding in the development of new verticals for the business. You'll act as the relationship owner for your customers and will be backed by our team of project managers and technicians to deliver world-class managed services. You will generate new business by managing and developing current channels (broadcast, entertainment, venue, corporate, motorsport) and new clients in related segments. You will be responsible for the execution and achievement of a sales plan including customer acquisitions, generating offers/tender responses, product & company presentations, contract negotiations and closing. THAT'S YOU Personality is vital – we need someone who can help our clients navigate their projects into the future of video and communications technology. Someone who can take the longer-term consultative approach. 5+ years of proven sales experience in a relevant market field, ideally in the broadcast and major events market OR 5+ years proven senior engineering & team leadership experience in major events. Experience in developing new markets/verticals would be highly regarded. Experience in responding to formal tender processes would be highly regarded. Broad knowledge of the event production, particularly around video, audio and communications technology. Active team player and communicator who is self-confident and results-driven. Ability to travel throughout the dedicated sales territories. Must be able to travel, including internationally, mainly around ANZ, and occasionally Europe and USA. This role will carry a travel requirement of around 20%. Secondary languages, notably German or Asian languages, are desirable, but not essential.
