The Opportunity: A Proposal Support Coordinator (PSC) is responsible for supporting the development, submission, and management of proposals in response to requests from clients or organisations.
These proposals predominantly are for large and complex proposals (including ASDEFCON) and therefore require active, timely and accurate bid team support.
The PSC seeks to build KBR Growth capability through developing and enabling process and procedures to meet the needs of the organisation and ensures compliance.
The PSC is a member of the GS APAC Growth and Business Development Team and works collaboratively with all bid team members including Proposal Managers, Capture Managers and Business Development Managers to ensure that proposals are created effectively and within deadlines.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Supporting the proposal development process from start to finish.Coordinating with various lines of business and enabling function teams to gather necessary information and resources.Proposal template maintenance.Bid site establishment and access management.Editing and formatting proposal content to ensure clarity and compliance, where appropriate.Ensuring proposal response provides compelling narratives and value propositions tailored to the specific bid.Coordinating reviews and revisions, in accordance with Shipley methodology, to improve the quality of the proposal.Maintaining a repository (SharePoint) of templates, content, documents in development etc.Tracking proposal metrics and outcomes.Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners throughout the proposal process.Administration of the Bid Budget.Conducting proposal reporting, close out and archiving.As the ideal candidate you will bring: Essential: Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role.Expertise in Word, Excel, MS Project.Proficiency with document management and SharePoint.Strong Communication Skills.Strong attention to detail.Project/Program delivery experience.Familiarity with Proposal Methodologies.Desirable: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or a related discipline.Shipley certification.Benefits of KBR: A workplace culture certified as a Great Place To Work (Aus, India, UK & US).Flexible working conditions.Competitive salary (including annual reviews).Paid Parental leave.Paid Reservist leave.Income protection.Corporate rewards.Salary packaging/Novated leasing.Discounted employee stock purchase plans.Flu shots, skin checks and private health insurance discounts.Career development: Online learning, mentorship and career pathways.If you're ready to shape tomorrow, let's get started.
