As a Proposal Manager, you are responsible for the submission of compliant and compelling Tender responses.
Working closely with the Capture Manager and the Business Development Team, you will be shaping the future of our business, whilst working in a fast-paced and high-performing team.To be successful in this role, you must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure all customer requirements and business objectives are met whilst maintaining a healthy competitive environment to drive the proposal to a winning position.The Key Responsibilities Of Proposal Manager AreClearly communicate the capture team's plans, methods, and vision to all stakeholders and use the Wall of Truth to establish writing guidance.Work closely with the Proposal Coordinator on all proposal plans, schedules, and direction.Meet with authors individually to review their section structure and content, and make suggestions to improve their product.Regularly read all proposal sections to ensure consistency and support of high-level win themes.Require proposal authors to adhere to instructions and all guidance, and make timely assignment changes if necessary.Use different ways to collaborate and interface with SMEs (e.g., interviews, research, drafted responses for SME review, analysis, and feedback of SME writing).Lead Daily Stand Ups producing action items and tracking actions to closure.Ensure daily stand ups are short and focused on issues, progress, and actions; table lengthy discussions for separate meetings.Schedule proposal milestones, to include a Kick-off, AMU Review, IDR Review, Red Team Review, BRR and Final Content Check Delivery Plan Review, Final Content Review, and Final Compliance Check.Create final production plans working with a coordinator.QualificationsAbout You and What You'll BringExceptional writing and communication skills, and the ability to articulate clearly and influentially.The ability to encourage collaboration and creativity whilst maintaining sight of the client's requirements.Project Management skills and the ability to enable efficient organisation of resources to meet strict timelines.Attentive and detail-oriented, to work to the constraints and demands set out in the client's request for proposal.Displays an understanding of standard proposal management vocabulary and responsibilities.Demonstrates basic understanding of the foundation for developing compliant proposals in line with Leidos' Win Plan.Addresses some complex steps using own judgement, but supervision or mentorship may be needed.Analyses customer documentation and identifies anomalies and redundancies, and communicates these to the capture team.Defines and provides an example of solicitation instructions, solicitation evaluation, industry terms, contract terms, solicitation deliverables, and processes required.Creates a basic compliance matrix with accurate solicitation instructions and evaluation criteria.Ability to obtain a baseline clearance is required; therefore, applicants must hold Australian citizenship.Additional InformationWhat you'll loveAt Leidos, you'll enjoy 12 weeks' paid parental leave as a primary carer, flexible work practices, discounted health insurance, novated leasing, and more.
