C J Boyd Solicitors is a well-established law firm in Sydney looking for a skilled Lawyer to join our team.
The successful candidate will have some experience in property law and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting and working with partners and lawyers in the team in meeting clients' objectives and deadlines
Transactional role with a focus on all areas of law but in particular property law (including leasing matters), wills and estates law, building and construction law
Working closely with other advisers on projects to understand and address legal and non-legal issues that arise in projects such as financial hurdles
Desired Skills and Experience:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Admitted as a solicitor in NSW
Experience in some or all of the above areas of law will be highly regarded
A strong client service orientation and willingness to nurture client relationships
Excellent analytical and research skills
A commitment to high work standards and strong attention to detail
Being able to take the initiative and be proactive with a willingness to learn
An ability to work well in a team environment
A commercial approach and an ability to negotiate effectively
Experience meeting deadlines and handling confidential information
