Mater Foundation is looking for a Property & Procurement Coordinator to join the team! This permanent, full-time role will be based at our Newstead campus.

The Property & Procurement Coordinator assists in providing operational management of property and prize procurement related projects, to support Lotteries program growth and sustainability. You will also be:
Managing and maintaining budget planning and budget forecasting for the property and prize portfolio.Overseeing the build, maintenance, and handover of each prize home to ensure timely completion within budget.Managing and maintaining all aspects of contract administration, from initial procurement and contract execution to the completion of contract stages and finalization for the property and prize portfolio.Managing and maintaining administrative tasks for the property and prize portfolio.Developing and maintaining effective communication and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly with the Mater Foundation team, staff, and suppliers, to support promotional and marketing initiatives for the lotteries program.About you You are a self-motivated individual who takes initiative and can manage responsibilities effectively while anticipating needs and are able to adjust to changing project requirements and manage competing priorities.
You will have a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in property and procurement and also meet the below criteria:
Experience or understanding of budget planning and financial forecasting, particularly in relation to property and prize procurement.Ability to monitor cash flow and mitigate risks associated with financial transactions.Experience in managing or assisting with property build projects, including aspects of due diligence, stakeholder negotiations, and risk management.Strong organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Knowledge and/or experience in contract administration from procurement through to execution and finalization, particularly for property transactions and prize acquisitions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising effectively with various stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external parties to support promotional and marketing initiatives.High attention to detail for preparing and managing procurement invoices, financial forms, and contract documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with approval authorities.Proficiency in administrative tasks related to property and prize management, including the use of project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and report generation.Familiarity with tools and software for project tracking and documentation, as well as general computer literacy for managing electronic communications and data.Mater is Queensland's largest and most innovative not-for-profit healthcare service, providing care for almost 700,000 patients a year across a network of 11 hospitals.
